Cheesy Mini Pigs in a Blanket

In the United States, “pigs in a blanket” often refers to hot dogs or sausages wrapped in biscuit or croissant dough and baked. The easiest three ingredient pigs in a blanket. Pigs in a Blanket aren't just for kids, they make great appetizers for adults! Perfect for game day or as an after-school snack!

  • 8 preferred hot dogs

  • 4 slices American cheese, each cut into 6 strips

  • 1 (8 ounce) can Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

Baking sheet, sharp knife, parchment paper

Prep: 10 min

Cook: 15 min. Ready: 30 min Serves: 4-6

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. 2. Slice hot dogs in half . Slit hot dogs to within 1/2 inch of ends; insert 3 strips of cheese into each slit.


3. Separate dough into triangles. Wrap dough triangle around each mini hot dog. 4. Place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, cheese side up.


5. Bake 12-15 min or until golden brown.
